Top 3 Tips to De-clutter Your Closet!
You definitely cannot control the endless love for clothes you have, and neither can you stop yourself from heading to the shopping mall every few days. But, what you can do is carefully arrange your closet, so it does not suffer from your never-ending shopping sprees. You might open your cupboard, and it all comes down to drowning you in a storm of clothes. However, if you follow the tips and tricks we have for you, it may turn out to be the best de-cluttering you’ve ever done. Check out our tips below and rearrange your wardrobes neatly to make more space for your upcoming newbies.
Give up Hoarding
Hoarding is the biggest problem which results in super stuffed wardrobes where you cannot find any space for new pieces. Now, you might be holding onto a piece of cloth for different reasons, but you must let it go if it’s not serving the purpose. Your primary reasons to keep a garment may include attached sentimental values, them being extremely expensive, and the thought that you’ll wear it someday. If something is too special, like a wedding dress, store it in some other place than your closet. For other reasons, you can donate them and fill your heart with a feeling that someone would love to have that piece in their cupboard and actually wear them.
Sort Seasonally
Once you’ve taken out the clothes you’re going to donate or throw away, you’ll be left with the things you actually want to keep. Instead of mixing up your winter and summer wear, sort it out seasonally. Single out your crop tops, summer dresses, shorts, skirts, tank tops, tees and other essentials that you wear in the warmer times. Then, set apart all your winter wear, including sweaters, jackets, coats, thermals, gloves, beanies and more. Make separate sections for all of these and put them in designated spaces.
Arrange Often
Of course, you pull out clothes from your closet often, and it would shuffle your stuff and distort the arrangement. However, tidying up your wardrobes more often would help keep them organized and neat. You would be able to keep track of clothes you don’t wear anymore or those that aren’t fitting you anymore. Whenever you come across such a piece, pick it out immediately and donate.
